out his arrival time.. we waited for 2.5 hrs at the airport itself.. bus was in just pathetic condition if we compare it value for the money I had paid.. smell, full of mosquito, cockroaches, torn seats, dust, leaking AC etc.. My CAB ratings are for first vehicle. Replaced vehicle was good. no issues but I had to follow up with Travel Kutir entire day and untill 9.30 pm. About hotels --> Cordial lodge breakfast was very late though we had requested for bit of early morning.. Ka bri war was best hotel amongst all. No complaint at all. Kalyaniz hotel was worst in terms of room allocation, room quality and service. There was no hot water in entire hotel.. had to do lot of follow up for hot water which delayed our temple visit plans. Getting non AC rooms at Manas shows how travel kutir works for customers.. i observed Travel kutir had no quality checks in place. At each occurrence I had to call multiple times to them and explain and everything.. most of time we group of 14 people had to adjust as travel kutir had no option or control in place.. Only positive about travel i would say is changing the vehicle on 2nd day of the travel..

He remained in constant touch, ensuring everything was going smoothly and addressing any concerns promptly. His proactive approach and genuine care made us feel valued. rdination in between driver and management of driver agency. Driver himself was not much happy with his team and was complaining with us about this throughout the journey. Apart from this, everything else was beautiful. Hotels and travel spots were trully amazing. One must visit North East India to have mesmerising memories and unbelievable experience.

s cleaner than many other parts of India but it won’t last long at the current rate. Our driver was a delightful man but we had to iron out some issues with punctuality and driving safety. Perhaps I misunderstood some of the arrangements, but I was surprised I needed to explain the itinerary to the driver. I was also surprised to be constantly spending on tickets to access all the so-called included sightseeing, as well as fees for parking and for bringing a camera etc. it adds up over the week. It might be a normal Indian thing but I would have expected the included itinerary to be already paid for. My advice would be to do your research. I was unaware the walk to the double decker bridge involved 7500 steps down and back up again! Stunning though and a very popular trek. It was quite an effort on a hot day. The bamboo trek was also arduous but spectacular and highly recommended. Surprisingly we started and finished the bamboo trek from Shillong when we had already travelled that route earlier. We could have stayed at a homestay in a nearby village and avoided all that time travelling back and forth. Especially since driving in and around Shillong is like being in one giant traffic jam. I don’t mean to sound negative. I actually had a very enjoyable trip. Meghalaya a beautiful place to visit, especially when out of the built up areas. Bamboo trek, visiting the local markets. The beautiful Khasi people. The magnificent and ancient root bridges is several places.

hotels were provided for me to select from , entire travel was planned according to my wish . I was explained of all possible options and the i decided based on the same and it was well planned All the hotels were clean and hygenic , the food was awesome .
